I took an extended nap today and woke up at midnight. I went down to check the mail and found a package from Mr. Waynorth along with assorted "so you're getting married and we, the wedding devils, found out about it and are going to send you junk mail for the foreseeable future". Well, I went straight to the back of the building and opened up and disposed of the large box, the wedding ads, and briefly fondled my new single blade Barlow before putting I it in my pocket and returning back inside to my ever loving, fiancée. She will not know I have this knife any time soon. She was very confused when I was low on cash a couple weeks ago and I played dumb. I'll get some pics up when she leaves tomorrow. This is the first secret that I'm keeping from her in three years. Thanks Charlie, terrible influence. Haha.

Tell her now! If you don't she'll find out with her womanly witchery ways and you'll be in for it, I have made that mistake with my wife before and now I am bald and greying at my beard!

A while ago I purchased a single blade sheepsfoot from Charlie with antique yellow saw cut bone. Honestly the 15 pattern hadn't really interested me and I thought it a forum trend, but after a good year of consistent Charlow posts popping up everywhere I thought I had better give it a go.

They are beautifully made. They are really nicely done, Charlie.
Solid construction and good snap on the blades. Lovely bone colour, and the saw cut makes for a great grip as well as aesthetically pleasing. I have been carrying it off and on since it arrived and it has developed a good patina. Not a permanent fixture, there are too many knives to limit myself to just one, but it will continue to ride in my pocket from time to time and more often than many others I'm sure.

I´m waiting like a child for christmas for the arrival of my TC Barlow with jigged chestnut bone handles....
 
Had my trusty 2 blade clip with me last night at the brew pub. No need for a caplifter when listening to great live music and drinking pints of Guinness. :D



I'm probably going to change my tat design to Duncan's pic. :eek: Does that still count?

I just wish I had to mental capacity to be able to own only one!

Jon - I think I have said this before - that Keen-Kutter of yours is a absolute Honey - LOVE the Bolsters - and the Bone is something out there - beautiful!!!
