Nice collection there Al:thumbup:

Indeed. Drool inducing pics. Here's my own amateur attempt , inspired by Hugo.
Christian - that is a beauty!! ;)

No kidding! It makes my little Charlow collection seem downright modest. :D
+1 :D

Looking forward to adding one of these to the huddle

Show off!!! :D:D:D In fairness, if I had 'em - I'd be a showing 'em too!!! :D:D:thumbup:

P.S. - Al - I was kiddin' you - I love your collection!

Waynorth - Thank you.

Thanks guys! They make great gifts for family and friends... I've given about a half-dozen as gifts in the last year or so. A few of these will find their way to new homes by Christmas.

Primble, with your exquisite taste, I predict many Charlows in your future. :) :)

A fine huddle it is, Al!!

A little note for you regulars here:

I have put a half a dozen nice ones back to bring to the GEC Rendezvous, to sell to help cover my expenses.

Hope some of you can make it!

I sure wish I could, Charlie! I'd be very curious to see which "nice ones" you show up with!

I don't know why I waited so long to pick up a "Day's Work" TC, but by the time I got off my butt and tracked one down, I think I must have gotten one of the last African Blackwood versions available at any dealer (thanks again, Ken!). Another fantastic Charlow, and this might be my favorite blade combo on a Barlow yet:

I am quite proud of those Day's Work two blades, Smithy!
Glad you got one!!

Great barlows everyone. I just bought an old Russell that will arrive next week and am pretty excited about it. As Charlie said in a previous thread "the Russell Barlow is quintessential to any Barlow collection".
Best Regards
Mark

Oh BTW.... thanks to this Forum....my wallet hurts! :D

Mark - looking forward to pics of your Russell.

Gotta pick a barlow sometime.

Yes, you do! As someone far wiser than me once said, "A Barlow in every pocket! A chicken in every pot!" :D

I have two of Charlie's Barlows and cherish them both. They're just CLASSIC pocket knives that no traditional stable is complete without. Photobucket is messing up tonight for some reason, so can't post a pic of them at the moment... :(

Group shot of my modest number of TC Barlows:

I let the blades go south on the one sawcut "Days Work". Not sure, but, I will probably keep the others closer to mint. ;)

Thank you for your comments Mark. It is mostly just that soft late evening light here that makes the shot nicer, I believe. ;):)

I just picked this one up yesterday

I am trying to find out how old it is but my search is futile. Any Ideas anyone?
