Man that's a gorgeous knife! Wow, it's just stunning. Congrats on that one! What is the closed length?

Back in the Day (Summer 2013) when we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first run of sheepfoot TC Barlows, there were some esteemed members of our community who expressed doubts about the desirability of a sheepfoot Charlow. See page 55 and the pages before and after... One of our dear friends even declared that he would pass on the sheepfoot Barlows thank you very much. (He has since changed his name on our forum, no doubt to try to escape the foolish words of his youth.)

Waynorth waxed eloquently with explanations of why everyone needed a sheepfoot blade. Apparently a number of our community at that time only owned spear points and clip blades! I confess that I am one of those. My first ever sheepfoot blade, outside of grandaddy's congress knife, was this Barlow.

I have not checked the production numbers on the GEC website, but I would wager that the number of sheepfoot Barlows produced for Waynorth in 2013 was considerably less than the current run. I remember sheepfoot Charlows sitting on the virtual shelves of our favorite webstores for several weeks after they first hit the market. The cherished walnut version sat unloved, while jon_slider urged me to purchase one because of the special connection to Charlie and his father. Finally, I felt sorry for Barry not being able to move those dust-covered TC Barlows, and I ordered a walnut sheepfoot to go with the other two I had purchased when they were first released.

Now, almost two years later, there seem to be a few more who have joined our flock, and interest in TC Barlows seems just a little greater. Back in the Day, we all thought Charlows were popular. That was (comparatively) nothing! In a few hundred pages, how many more sheep will be in the fold? I can only imagine what the third run of sheepfoot Barlows will bring!
