What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I'm lucky to have one of Barry's slips that has the TC on one side and a dogwood flower on the reverse. May have to get one that has the Nf on it and another that says UN-X-LD!

I never used a pocket slip in the past, but Barry's are nice enough to carry empty!

Good lookin, Scott! Yes they are! Mine doesn't ever even feel like I have a knife in there. I keep mine in the left front pocket with my folding money.

I am 100% certain it is the first Sheep! Guaranteed!*

*Might be the Spey. :D

Second guess is correct. I guess that makes you stalking in the second degree ! ;):D

I vote for the Spey as the new one.

Stalking - First Degree ;):D

Pay attention Gary!!!!! :D Sheesh, being a teacher, I'd expect you to be ready for pop quizzes all the time. :D

:thumbup::thumbup::D:D:D

It ain't a sheepfoot...door number 2!

Stalking - First Degree ;):D

Ooh ooh! I know this one, the Day's Work!
I know,,,I'm hot!
Hey Rob, soon I will have my third soup too!

Stalking - First Degree ! ;):D

Glad to hear you have your third coming. It took me a long time to get my first soup bone. ;):D

Lots of nice pics and deeds AND knives !:D

You guys sure post some nice photos. Mine are pathetic in comparison. I enjoy seeing all these great TC photographs and the way you stage them. What some spectaculor and beautiful TCs you all have and those Barry slips are outstanding. I get home from work and no matter how much stress there was at work (being a securities broker) is relieved and mitigated when I open and enjoy this ongoing saga on the TC! Keep them coming my friends. Lloyd

Thank you Lloyd! Everyday I come home and start looking at them again. It's also for me a nice break from the work day. These knives really remind me of simpler times and my grandfather.

Stalker?

Guilty!:p:D

If your photos are pathetic, Lloyd, I guess I never noticed with all the drooling I did over your knives!

Scott, that's an awesome gesture from Shawn. Just more goodness spreading around the porch.

And it's always nice when an awesome gesture takes the form of a cool knife! I mean, he could've just sent me a bottle of wine, but where's the fun in that?:p

Scott, happy to see that you like the barlow  I'm surrounded by so much wine in this little county that it would've been too tough to choose a bottle!

Well done Shawn, Scott is a good fella! Part of the reason the porch is so much fun. I remember his and my conversations over the BF stag knife last fall. Really enjoyed that Scott!

Perry & Scott - Those are some nice looking slips! I may have to hit Barry up and get me one of them things!

Scott - Very nice gift! Congrats and that was really cool of GB

Yes Bob that's yellow bone. Need to take a better pic soon.

I thought that was a REALLY good pic Lemmy. It made the yellow bone look like nothing I'd seen before, I thought that was done by design and I really liked it.

Thanks sugarleaf. I guess I meant to say I just out to carry it more often and get some pics of it getting up to something.

I really like the Antique Yellow jigged bone on the last TC run.
