What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Lloyd, MJ and Bob, thank you for the nice compliments on the Pony Cut:thumbup:

Very nice John, WONDERFUL gifts that your giving and received. You picked a great one to keep:cool::thumbup:

Fantastic Soups Phil:cool::cool::cool:

The Pony Cut examples are outstanding!

I received this one for Christmas. I've been trying to get ahold of a single clip TC for some time, and I'm beyond happy with this one!

Great pictures, love the bookshelf picture;)

Al these TC's...... One day i will be able to snag one on a reserve! Beautiful blades fellas!

I've been here since the beginning of Charlie's wonderful TC release and have the very good fortune to own several. They are the focus of my collecting. I will NEVER have them all but I try to get a representation of every release.

Just a note: I have missed one or more of the past releases. I have been able to aquire some through the secondary market. Some took a couple of years and to me were well worth the wait.

This is the first time I've ever had a total release and I am so thankful. Two members in particular were instrumental in this happening. THANKS YOU TWO, you know who you are;)

Here they are...

Peachseed, Smooth and Pony Cut.

Gah! the blade etching she disappearth! are you using them ?! :D back in the tubes! keep em mint ;)

Thanks everyone. Jack, I have to side with Bob, use them:D:thumbup:
 They're so much more enjoyable to use than to look at every so often. I was that way when I first started accumulating a couple TC's, but soon learned the joys of carrying and using them. So much better. :D

I don't have any spares.

some day if I have a few more, but id look into a user TC barlow I guess, (erm herm Phill sell me that red soup bone user:D) and no spares? :O have we seen a collection picture of your 15s lately?

I think using and collecting can be equally enjoyable . Doubles would endorse that choice of collecting/fondling only ,though as I find it hard to use one that doesn't have a double .I must add I'm very guilty of that 😉

:D They're all different though and there are less now than there was a month ago. I'm really down to a small collection of users. If I don't count the ones set aside for my grandson, I'd say 6-7 (total including TC's and other 15's) and then a couple of other patterns on top of those. Maybe 10-11 knives all said and done.

Been carrying and using this little guy since it was acquired but with much TLC for this TC [emoji41]
