Those are beauties in all regards, Charlie, but I especially love the way the handles are shouldered (not sure whatcha callit) above the bolsters.

Well Charlie it looks like you and Bill have created another winner! If you look up the word Ancient in the dictionary they will have a picture of that TC for and illustration!

I am not sure what the correct term would be. The "shoulders" were the result of finishing the bolsters horizontally on the older knives, vs. the vertical or longitudinal way that evolved later.
