You are welcome, Ron!!
So, Black and White Barlows are coming! Here are some earlier 15s to give you an idea of what they will look like!

Of course they will be #14s, with a single clip blade!!

Temperature is starting to turn up here in the PNW... felt like a soup weather to me =) Several shots from today

All mine except this are two-bladed. This one I like a lot because it isn't so clunky in pocket.
I wasn't carrying it in part because I got it in a tin box with a matching Granddaddy marked 1 of 1000, but so what? I got the two knives in box with paper for something like $58, I doubt they'll appreciate, and I doubt a little light use would destroy their value if they had any.

It definitely has value in pocket and in hand.

1986 Bulldog Barlow :

These Bulldog Tobacco Barlows are pretty well made . One with a Spey and one with a Sheepfoot . One with a Normally Curved handle and one with a Reversed Curve Handle . Green Bone

Nice Bulldog Barlows, Harry! In the past I have owned a couple, and your great photos convinced me I needed to restore the name to my semi-organized Barlow collection!
Off to the 'Bay, I found this nice Stag, Curved sheepfoot, with the "reverse" etch, matchstrike pulls, half-stops and fancy bolsters!! Barlow Nirvana!!

Harry, are yours stamped "S&D CUT.CO.?

The line on the blade is on the scanner glass, not the blade!

Thanks for the photo Charlie. I'm quite excited about these Barlows myself. I've never had a knife with white bone before but I've heard in time it can age quite well.

Charlie,

We are all anxiously waiting. Thanks for bringing some 15's to this years Rendezvous. An unexpected surprise indeed. Enjoyed the conversations we had and it was another great show. Thank you for the hospitality and sharing your knowledge. Already have plans to be there next year.

Thanks,

Will

I don't think that I need to tell you how much I like that one Charlie my friend . Bulldog Stag Barlow with a Swayback and a Sheepfoot and a Pen Blade with amazing Bolsters with Script.
As you know , I have 3 Bulldog Barlows .

From the Top Down , mine are stamped :
1.and 3. have : S&D CUT CO.
2. BULLDOG BRAND
Then they all 3 are over :
HAMMER FORGED over
SOLINGEN over
GERMANY
The Pen Blade of all 3 have the ENGLISH STEEL 1986 stamp
The Main Blades 1 thru 3 are : SPEY , SHEEPFOOT , RAZOR

I would like to find more specifics on how many of these were made . I have searched , but not found much yet . I am sure glad that paulhilborn paulhilborn bought one and kicked this off . I am enjoying the heck out of these .

Pretty sure all the S&D Cut Co Bulldogs were 1st generation, before Dorton sold out to Parker. They were an importer in Kentucky, and then Ohio.

Just got this Drake's Well 1972 Queen barlow. I have yet to hang onto a Queen knife.. keep hunting for one that strikes me especially with the unfortunate closing of the company. I must admit I like this one a lot. Excellent walk and talk.. centered.. no play.. I love the non symmetrical bolsters and the scales are beautiful.

I have a few of those '72 Drakes and agree with your assessment; however, I like your covers a bit more.
