What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Thanks, JohnDF!!
I forgot to mention, for you Prototype collectors out there, the third knife in, in the top row, is an etched "Proto" that Bill sent on approval, for the first batch of Barlows!

Thanks Matt!!
The Dead Skunks were made by Bill to pull my leg!! They turned out nice - He handed me a box at the Rendezvous. I had the option of not buying them - AS IF!!!:D

Well hot darn, I must have been paying attention in class. The dead skunks are great! A whole box of them sounds even greater, were they all two blade knives?

Two words came to mind after viewing your latest TC pics Charlie: 1) mic; 2) drop. So great to see so many TCs in one framing. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your past and ongoing dedication to creating such great knives. MJ.

Charlie, I almost always prefer a traditional Barlow, but something about the dead skunk is just so right. I think this would make a great barlow run ...

Their were some variations, if I recall correctly - there is no list to refer to -
I don't think?!:rolleyes:o_O

Ha ha! - thanks, MJ!

John, that "rusty" TC looks better with patina than it ever did when brand new!!

Charlie, was there any changes from the prototype to the production knives? Gorgeous all, when was the dead skunk acrylic? Rendezvous I guess.

The Dead Skunks were Rendezvous 2014 I believe.
The production run was exactly as the Prototype! Bill admitted that run of knives was the "cleanest" run of any knives he had done to date! They fit together well, and the springs were perfectly regulated. My Old Boiley still has perfect snap!! (My opinion, but I AM a little positively prejudiced!!):D
