Charlie, I picked 1942 because my folks were born in 1941 and 1943. I have always known it as BeemansDidn't it used to be called Beeman Pepsin Chewing Gum??![]()
Great Pocket Dump my friend . I was around in 1942 , but I doubt that I even had pockets to dump back then . It appears to me that the Beemans could have been around even prior to 1942 . I certainly remember it when I was but a lad . You really have your Ancient TC's patina looking good .Stolen idea fromHalf/Stop . However, the sawcut wood came from my paternal grandfathers barn, made into a coat rack. The silver dollars were his also, passed on to me by my grandmother. I call this “pocket dump, @ 1942”.

Whether they take the pot or not those are spectacular redbone barlow knives. Goodness gracious they are beautiful. Those babies put a smile on one's face.I can't offer anything as old as the gems posted today so far... But sometimes 2 pairs can still take the pot.
Sure beats my pair !!! Those 2 pairs are pretty nice my friend .I can't offer anything as old as the gems posted today so far... But sometimes 2 pairs can still take the pot.

I carried the 62009½ in the first pic all day today so it really might be Case red bone Barlow Friday.
Nice pic and content, the original Beemans went out of business a few years back along with Clove and Blackjack gum. Someone (not sure who) brought Beemans back, just not as good as the original thoughStolen idea fromHalf/Stop . However, the sawcut wood came from my paternal grandfathers barn, made into a coat rack. The silver dollars were his also, passed on to me by my grandmother. I call this “pocket dump, @ 1942”.

John I’ve got one here that’s very similar to yours. Mine has more rag bone than soup bone but the colors are very similar! Mine has been used but not abused too much! It’s tight and both blades snap like a gator! They are definitely a great carry knife and will no doubt outlast us!
