I took out some excessive lateral blade play today. Sometimes my DYI projects can go awry.

I have fond memories of dad using this hammer when I was a child. I am pleased to be able to use his tools and he would be too. Good dayView attachment 1097536

I fell in love with slip joints in a whole new way when I learned how to snug up a pivot! Nice going. I'll bet that knife feels priceless in your hand now, huh?

I consider this pretty classic Case Barlow. 1979 (I'm told) saw cut bone. Odd reflection (tree limb I believe). May have to give this photo another try.

Added: I picked it up at the Dalton GA Knife Show on the 16th. Very pleased with it. That show was slippie heaven. There were literally 100's of slip joints that I liked and would love to own. I had to limit my purchases to a GEC #14 (w/clip blade) and the Case Barlow. The Case shows a little age, perhaps pocket wear, but the snap is awesome and blades centered nicely. Love it! Reminds me a lot of the first Case Barlow I owned as a kid in the 60's. Case really made a great knife then.
