Found this old unadorned Winchester at the Groton CT knife show, and had to take it home. Steel bolsters and liners, nice medium pull, smooth walk, and musical talk. I don't know much about this knife, or exactly how old it is, but I'm thinking that the couple handle cracks are likely older than me.

It seems that the way the saw-cut lines are so pocket worn, and the blades were maintained, that this knife was used every day and cared for regularly. This one sits on the night stand for now, but my TC Ancient is in my RFP with stuff and things that will maybe give it some of the same added character...in hopefully not too much time.:thumbsup::cool:
