Not a dumb question. The English Barlows that you speak of are either never again SFOs or hunted down. The ones produced by the remaining Sheffield cutlery firms are hit or miss in terms of fit&finish. My thought is to keep hunting.Dumb question - where do you guys find all these beautiful English barlows? I've a couple old I*XL and a ES&O, but can't locate any of the modern Wright's, etc. Thanks.

Still waiting on Michael May to repair my Sheffield Barlow. He has had it for several months now. Yours looks great. Love that highly figured cherry wood scales.
One gorgeous knife you have there.Amherst Cutlery Daddy Barlow.

Thank you kindly, Bill. Easy to see why you don’t sell your Case Barlow. One gorgeous knife you have there.
Harvey - thanks for the kind words. Actually it's not a Case Barlow but rather a Dan Burke small Barlow that was manufactured by Queen. Easy to make that mistake.Thank you kindly, Bill. Easy to see why you don’t sell your Case Barlow.
