Dumb question - where do you guys find all these beautiful English barlows? I've a couple old I*XL and a ES&O, but can't locate any of the modern Wright's, etc. Thanks.

Not a dumb question. The English Barlows that you speak of are either never again SFOs or hunted down. The ones produced by the remaining Sheffield cutlery firms are hit or miss in terms of fit&finish. My thought is to keep hunting.

I have posted pictures of this knife before and each time a retrieve it from my drawer it mesmerizes me. I have often thought about selling it but I haven't because I love this knife and the way it feels in my hand.

Great Barlows guys, some great knives here. I don't remember if I posted it before, but I think this one fits the definition of good traditional Barlow, heavily used but f&f are as good as it was new.

Harvey - thanks for the kind words. Actually it's not a Case Barlow but rather a Dan Burke small Barlow that was manufactured by Queen. Easy to make that mistake.
