I carry the Skeletool CX. 154CM blade is great. The best feature is the combination bottle opener and clasp. I hook it at 4 oclock on my jeans so I always have it.

This. I use it quite a bit. I do like the driver kit and have picked up extra jig saw blades that fit it (metal, bi metal, wood, general purpose). It is all strapped to the side of my edc pack.

SOG S60.....interchangable components and the pliers can be used while handles are still folded. also has agreat saw. i had mine for a few years and gave it to my lifeguard buddy for a promotion gift...

I've had a LM PSTII for years and years, but now it's home is my armrest or glovebox (depends on where I end up putting it back) in my car. Everywhere else it's been my SOG powerlock (the uber-tacticool EOD version. Hey, the cap crimpers work well for the crimp connectors we use at work) as my go-to multi. I'm totally comfortable with either of them, and don't think either is built more solid than the other. I think LM or SOG would be a very safe bet.

I've been using the same LM Wave for the past 8+ years.

I also have a LM PSTII that I got as a high-school grad gift from the dad of a girl I was dating then - still carry and use that thing when I need something lighter. Probably one of the greatest and most used gifts I've ever received.

The Wave is a feather compared to a SOG Powerlock . Got one for over a year now and love it. Build like a tank. Have Gerber scout 600 in the glove compartment of my car.

My first multitool was the original Leatherman Supertool which was stolen when my car was broken into back around '93 or '94. Ironically it was right outside a mall where I was doing plainclothes security.
I replaced it with an original Wave and last year got a Wave II when it was on clearance. It was a special Father's Day kit which included their Monarch LED flashlight.
I also EDC a Squirt P4.

Amazon has the Black Oxide Supertool 300 at a good price now.

Right now I am carrying some cheap winchester walmart multitool. However I am hoping to fix that in the near future. Has anyone got a chance to try out the Leatherman MUT? I have seen some good reviews of it and I am thinking of trying to get a hold of one.
