what multi-tool?

My first multitool was the original Leatherman Supertool which was stolen when my car was broken into back around '93 or '94. Ironically it was right outside a mall where I was doing plainclothes security.
I replaced it with an original Wave and last year got a Wave II when it was on clearance. It was a special Father's Day kit which included their Monarch LED flashlight.
I also EDC a Squirt P4.

Amazon has the Black Oxide Supertool 300 at a good price now.

Here are my two Waves.

Now Your Ready! DAM:thumbup:

I have a LM Supertool and a Victorinox SwissTool X. Both are great, but I give the nod to the SwissTool, which I carry everyday.

In my work/lunch bag I have a LM Blast. On my belt I carry a Vic Huntsman,or Climber.I find that I don't use plyers much, but, if I need them I have em'.Often times have an Alox Soldier in my pocket too, good n' sturdy.

I carried an original Leatherman for more years than I can remember. Then upgraded to the Wave about 2 years ago - love it!

I have two. a SOG Paratool which I have had nearly since they came out that I keep in my Maxpedition Jumbo, and carry out daily. And a Leatherman Surge in my camping pack (which doubles as my 3 day/get home.) The SOG is light(er) and covers most useful applications. I like the Surge for its changeable bits (and file.) A lot of knives, guns and scopes have torx and allen heads, It's nice to be able to check/snug things p in the field.

If I need pliers a LM Fuse, if I know I`m going to do some heavy work, a Victorinox Swisstool, and for edc one of my many SAKs

Original LM wave for 4 yrs., then upgraded to a LM Charge Ti with 154 CM blade for the past 4 years on my belt. No issues with weight as I EDC a large Spyderco Manix on the other side too.
Great multi-tools-highly recommended.

I have a black oxide LM Wave that I love, but it stays in my car due to it's size and weight. For daily carry, I love my LM Juice S-2. Get the optional leather sheath, clip it on your belt, and forget it's there until you need it.

I only own two multi-tools (not including SAKs). I have a Leatherman Charge TTi and a Leatherman Juice S2. I generally will EDC my Juice S2 in my right front watch pocket. The Charge TTi just tends to be a tad heavy for pocket carry. I'd like to have it in a sheath on my belt but I don't like having to thread my belt and I haven't found one thats an "easy on, easy off" type of setup.

Black oxide wave for me as well, occasionally the s2 juice. id love a charge tti but they are pricey.

I have used a S2 juice solely for 2 years now. I carry it and use it pretty much daily as a LEO. While I was a firefighter I demolished a Juice XE6 that I had, by trying to rotate a water seal off of a truck with the pliers. It was all I had at the time and I had to use it....but the juice probably isnt the best for "Hard Use".

Gerber Crucial. I know many here will knock Gerber but the two main selling points on this for me were: One handed knife operation without having to open the tool, and a pocket clip. I carry it on my belt in the middle of my back. I was always turned off by the pouches that most multi-tools have to be carried in.
This is my EDC. I dont need 2 million tools on it like some of the other multi-tools out there. This one just has the basics. Pliers, phillips screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver, wire cutters, corkscrew and bottle opener. Im happy with it, it does what I need and I believe I picked it up for about $25 at Target with a gift card so it was basically free. ;)

An SOG rides in my Carharrt pants every day. They probably already have one (haven't looked) but I really wished my SOG had a 1/4" hex bit driver on it so I could carry a small package of bits with me

Jeff, try this with this guy and you should be set. Hope that worked, I'm on my phone at work.
