What multitool or SAK did you buy today

IMG_1594.jpeg

This thing is super cool. Bought it a month ago but had not played with it yet. Seems well built. The only problem is the sharp corners seem like they could be uncomfortable in my pocket.

I’ll have to see if I can find the worlds smallest leather slip. If I can I expect I’ll just drop it in my pocket every day

Works perfectly. Completely unnoticeable in the pocket

Pulled the trigger on a pre-‘85 Victorinox Champion last night on the bay. I’ve never had a SAK of that size before. Was originally looking at the Swisschamp but seen the Champion and it appealed more to me because it seems less common. I might be wrong about that because I’ve never been big into SAK. I read Buzzbait Buzzbait thread on his Swisstank and couldn’t help myself from wanting to try a big SAK.

My very first Cellidor models. I picked up a Hiker, Tinker and another Huntsman. I currently have a couple Alox, wood and whatever the OHT is but have been wanted to try cellidor and couldn’t make up my mind which one i wanted between the Hiker or Tinker. Good sales right now so I thought I’d get both. The Huntsman will go along side his wood brother I already have. :)

I saw and bought this Alox Cadet today.

I don't recall seeing any pictures of the blade with this writing.

I will have to use it for a bit, but I may end up liking this nail file texture more than the previous one (MiniChamp shown for comparison)

I didn't buy it there, but the Amazon photos for the Cadet show both the new texture in one photo along with the prior texture in other photos, both textures for the same item. So, I'm not sure which texture would arrive if you ordered a new one (there or elsewhere).

I’m going to quote myself because I had to return it due to damage and luckily got a full refund. It was too much damage not shown in the photos or listed in the description.

I made up for it by getting a Victorinox Fieldmaster in the mail today that’s in almost new condition and I like it quite a lot. Also have some black scales on the way for it because I find the red scales just too… tame? Call me crazy but I like the black better.

Just ordered me a Handyman. Because I just need another SAK. Impetus to this impulse buy was the pliers - of all the SAKs I own, none have pliers. Three or four multi tools do, but they’re not SAKs. So I had to do it. This one will probably live on my home work desk.

Handyman arrived early this morning. I’m not usually fond of the more overweight SAKs because they’re kind of uncomfortable to carry, but this one is going to live on my home office desk for general fidgeting and assistance with whatever else diverts me from doing actual work all day. Like all my other SAKs, it’s such a cool little piece.

Handyman is great but if it's just going to sit in your desk then I think a swiss champ would be better because you'll also get the inline phillips driver and magnifying glass. Of course the can opener works on phillips screws, but having the full 3D phillips driver is a lot better.

I think a Handyman is more for something like car camping or carrying at home or outside around the property. I would even say a Handyman could make a decent addition to a BoB.

The handyman has called me more than often. I got my old faithful SwissChamp and as much as I love it I would love it even more if I could squeeze out few of the layers that the handyman doesn't have.
