What popular knives that you don't understand why

They're different aspects. I don't see your point.

They are quite related. Real world application breeds educated impressions. Are you suggesting you're into both uneducated impressions and the counter of real world application? If so, I guess that kind of makes sense. I guess.

Experience and education are not the same. You can spend your whole life Learning and never experience real world application. Are you just attempting to discount anything I say. You're not making a real point.

Yes, but not in the case of knives. It seems to be you're saying you find great value in uneducated "first impressions," and personally, when I'm searching for a product, I have little use for such things. I'm having a dialogue with you based on your comments, nothing more, nothing less. If you're into uneducated impressions, have at it man, we're all different.

Dude, when you get down to it, nothing on this site "needs" to be analyzed or even said. You're getting too worked up over this, really.

I'm not getting worked up at all. I want to know why you targeted what I said for trolling. Attacking how someone says something is personal and off topic.

I didn't "target" anything and I certainly didn't accuse you of trolling dude. You made a post about knives, part of that post confused me, I responded. That's really all there is to it. I didn't attack how you said anything, I questioned what you said, which happens here every day.

Oh...bad things, are bad.

Like a lot of similar threads (referencing stabman's summation here) I think this is more accurately "I don't like what I don't like, and I don't like that other people do like what I don't like. I don't like that at all." :p

Anything with a compound grind, super type steel and obtuse edges. I don't get big fat thick tanto recurved folders either. Ever try to sharpen one in the woods when it is 28deg's and high humidity etc.etc. Just don't cut it for me. keepem sharp

It's a line from Bob's Burgers. You're thinking too deep into it. Agreed with your point nonetheless.

I have a hard time with asymmetric grips. One side Ti or steel one side scale. Disturbs my boarder line OCD.

Overly tall, narrow, slab-sided handles that substitute aggressive jimping and finger grooves for a more hand-filling, 360-degree grippable handle shape. Manix, 0350, Shallot, Tenacious... knives seem to be the only product made that eschew an ergonomic grip for aggressive edges that are fatiguing to use over time, rather than a suitable hand-filling grip that allows greater contact area and lower overall pressure for the same grip strength. Yes, I know, thin is in for pocket carry, but an extra 1/8" of thickness, rounded corners and a swell in the middle of the handle aren't going to make something uncarryable.

Last probably gets me the most. Especially when the vast majority of blades that advertised with the botique steels aren't ever going to be used enough or in a way to necessitate the need for it. Especially since a majority of the people wouldn't notice the difference between them in use save the fact its etched on the blade.

Haven't watched that one yet, it's hard for me to get into the comedic cartoons, ala Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc. I do like Archer though, and American Dad.
