What qualities make a good machete???

The orange modification above looks much like another pattern (or two). 284? ... Yes, the nice 284 Guapote shape. There's another similar #. But those have a bit more belly I believe. And the width/taper may affect the handling more than just reshaping a 127. (I note that BYXCO now has a 16" Guapote.)

I have a bunch of different length Imacasa 127s, and they are indeed thinner/lighter than some of the similar Incolma machetes.
