What RC5 number are you !

After waiting for a month and a few days since ordering it, I got mine :D

After a wait of only one week, my RC-5 arrived today. #0389, green sheath and black blade. My RC 4 & 5 ordered prior to the 5 aren't going to arrive as quickly. Anyway the 5is an absolutely super piece of gear. I looks and feels as though it could eat a bus for lunch and have room for a truck for dessert. I'm glad I've got an incurable case of RAT fever.

Got it! #0369 - and it was worth the wait. Everything about this knife is sturdy and the best part is that it's 100% made in the USA! Thanks RAT.

I just got 0101 in the mail today. I'll get some pictures tomorrow when there is more sun and less rain than we had today.
 
My first RC5 (black #0130) was lonely, so I had to get another, #0333 in OD green just arrived in CT. !:D
 
If Eagle would ship the sheaths we have on back order with them you would see a lot higher serial numbers than that on the RC-5. Lots of back orders!
 
R.A.T.,have you thought about sheaths like the RC4.I think that might make a good selling point,no offence meant.
 
May have to go to Kydex if Eagle doesn't start shipping ;)

I know one thing that attracted me to the RC-5 was the sheath but I think most would want the knife with a Kydex sheath if it means they don't have to wait.

Maybe make the Eagle sheath an option/accessory and the Kydex standard??? :confused:

I would rather wait on an optional Sheath than the knife itself if I had at least a Kydex sheath to use in the mean time.

What's the longest wait so far?
 
My 2 lowest numbers are #8 & #20. I just traded #92 for an original Justin Gingrich (Non_Ontario) Ranger RD-9. I am giving #46 to my sister and I have 2 others in the ~200 range.
 
Mine is #343, which for me is significant because as a member of the Public Safety community the 343 represents the 343 firefighters that lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. I love this knife! A true work horse!
