What RC5 number are you !

#307 is OD and doing fine in the great state of North Carolina (but soon it will be abused in Alabama!)

0290...I haven't had an opportunity to really put it through it paces. Took it lake camping two weeks ago and did some light work with it, but mostly used my RC-3 and Izula.

May have to go to Kydex if Eagle doesn't start shipping ;)

In most cases I am very disappointed with the OEM sheaths that come with a new knife. The RC-5 was an exception. I love the Eagle sheath. It is very comfortable to wear and secures its one pound knife with no problem. The accessory pocket is big enough for my RAT ferro rod and a few other things.

I like the two straps that secure the handle (some have said it is overkill). Those who were in the military, or if you are scrambling around in the mountains, know that redundant retention system is great idea. Especially if you elect to carry you knife upside down using the MOLLE, which is also great!

The insert that protects the blade is ambidextrous and isn't made of kydex. Kydex can be noisy and some claim that is can dull your blade and wear off blade coatings.

It just seems to me that A LOT of thought went into this sheath and I couldn't be happier with it. Wish I had one for all my RC-3 and my other knives.

Mine's #0535. I got it from Two Wolves Outdoor about a week ago. It's green plain edge with green sheath. I love this knife, couldn't be happier.

I forgot. I got mine from Two Wolves also #0539. It only took 2 days to get here. I also got OD plain W/green sheath.

Mine came today from 'two Wolves' - #0472 - green plain blade/black sheath - just what I wanted! Shaved my arm - cut-up the USPS box, etc - more to come.
