What SAK are ya totin' today?

How do you like the LCR?

I'm thinking of one in 9mm to go use in place of my Glock for those hot days of shorts and T-shirt.

It's very nice. I switched from the Ruger LC9 after my faith in it wavered with some feeding issues at the range. I traded in the LC9 and went with the LCR in .357. Not what I initially wanted (I also was looking for the 9mm) however after some research I figured having the .357 version would allow me to shoot both 38 and 357 - the best of both worlds. The trigger is great and the kick isn't too bad with the thick rubber grips. Hogue makes custom G10 grips for it that I'm interested in but that will be for a later time.

That's like asking what the meaning of life is. What's great is that they can be used for EVERYTHING and each model has a specific set of tools that you have to choose from to compliment your EDC. If you're not sure what to pick them pick the be all end all and get a Swiss Champ.

Lol I just saw that and it's like a tool box! I like the little ones I've seen; it would fit perfect in scrubs I wear for work. I'll look around at the models but for sure I want that same color I saw - plain steel or white lol not sure but it looked legit

Check out the Victorinox Pioneer X model. Comes with a knife, and awl (excellent for opening boxes and such so you don't dull your main blade), can opener & bottle opener with flat tips that can be used on screws. And very useful--scissors.

You have good taste in Victorinox. The Alox models are what you are after.

The tinker I found in a junk/antique shop a few days after we arrived in Georgetown Texas on our cross country move. It's been a pretty steady daily companion. The Opinel gets used a lot for the heavier dirty work.
