I think it's called the Waiter. It was given to me recently by a neighbor who I believe purchased it from the worlds largest knife collection at the TSA. He suggested I wash the toothpick before I use it.

I was surprised what a great edge the blade will take with very little effort. Nice strong springs. Sorry, but I haven't really carried one of these before. It slices like crazy. In addition, one never knows when a damsel in distress needs a bottle of wine opened, or a buddy in dire need of a brew needs a cap lifted. Cutting twine off bales? Grain bags? Very little effort. Hard to be without it now that I've carried for a little while.

Of course you already knew all this, but I didn't. Oh, I did follow his advise and washed the toothpick :)

not sure of the model but it's my newest one!

I'm pretty sure that's an Original version of the Handyman! The orig version had a fishscaler instead of the pliers that came later on. That would be an orig Craftsman if it had a Phillips on the back. Nice snag buddy!!!

Thanks Robert, for me Bushcrafters are tough to purchase but a real joy to own.

Today, I used the saw to free a small tree that was being crushed by a large limb that had fallen on it. I was glad to have just the right tool and... it was in my pocket. :triumphant:

Your Climber just looks right with the Matterhorn on it's handle!!! Quite a scene!!! (and quite a coincidence) In the next couple of days a Climber II is to be delivered here. I like nylon handles but I like Matterhorn handles even more, nice knife Robert!!! -James

111mm rucksack!
i have 5 or 6, so there is always one with me...
the rucksack in combination with leatherman juice sc2 (with bit adapter & misc. bits) will usually handle any need that arises... if i step up to my rebar or super tool 300, then the vic compliment is the outrider...
if i carry a 91mm vic the first choice is the ranger, huntsman & camper would also do in a pinch...
in my psk it's either a farmer or safari trooper...
yes, saws everywhere!

Thx James and congrats!!! The nylon Vics rock! Tough and stay looking good longer IMO! A great carry option!!! Looking forward to seeing it!

You got it all covered Sparky!!!!

Has anyone ever put on micarta scales on a sak?

Cause I got some micarta at home and the scales on one of my saks fell off due to age.
Might be a weekend project.
