  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The "Argus" Spartan today!!!!!

My SAK for EDC use for the past year or so is the Explorer Plus. It has the mini-screwdriver for spectacles, and my most used tools the scissors and can opener.

The Old Cross was put to work this weekend in cutting up cardboard in order to fit into the recycling bin. It was also used to help repair a wheel on the recycling bin, cut open a package, the flathead was used to scrape some built-up compound off of my leather strop, and a few other minor tasks. It is in my pocket again today.

:D That's exactly how I got sold on ALOX (an Old Cross Pioneer) back in '82!!! Took a new Pioneer out of my shop's display case and cut up a bunch of big water heater boxes for my Dad...the Pioneer whizzed through the job and was still very sharp when I was done.

My original Pioneer...on top of a bunch of knives from the fire.

Today again my old Wenger (1964), is perhaps the SAK that I carry more times in my pocket !!!
