Thanks Robert but I'm finding the wear of the ALOX is a slow process for me anyway as I just carry my ALOX only in my pocket...no keys or change to accelerate the process:o

ALOX is tough stuff. Some of my nicely weathered knives are 30-50+ years old. This Woodsman is from the early to mid 60's and it's just starting to look good. :D

This is my buddy's (the seller) pic...I'll post more after they are all cleaned up.

You might try a small, flat piece of smooth wood in the pocket with that SAK. It won't hurt you pocket or damage your knife but the constant contact with the scales might accelerate the aging process.

It took over 20 years of use and jean pocket time to put this amount of wear on my first Pioneer.

Enjoy your weekend everyone:)

I admit, I was hesitant, but when I received my orange Farmer's, I was ecstatic. The orange with orange shield is by far my most favored color of all.:)

Even though I'm not working, my newly acquired Pioneer is in my pocket.
Gotta get a little wear on it...
And that orange Farmer is beautiful!

Carrying the Pioneer shown above (post #357) today.

Mr Fixit, unless you carry something else in your pocket, ALOX wears very slowly (see post #344).
