Wow!

Do you have an approximate date on that beauty?

Those exposed pins and old solid cellidor go way way back.

Thanks Jack, but I honestly don't know the date of manufacture, but it's been with me for many years!:):thumbsup:

Ever since the stay at home order took place in my area around early march, I have been carrying my Swisschamp in addition to my benchmade bugout. Its crazy how easy it is to forget how useful the swisschamp is! I use it nearly every day for something. The tools that get used the most are the pliers, phillips screwdriver, straight screwdriver, large blade, and scissors. Such a great tool.

Few questions: How durable is the grip portion? Does it make the knife hard to get out of the pocket? Does it add thickness to the regular Evolution handles?
jazzz, Those are good questions. I had those same questions prior to using an Evogrip.
After several years of owning both the 11 and 14 Evogrips I've recognized the grip material is super tough! It'll most likely outlast the cellidor and then some.
There's no discernible difference when removing an Evogrip model from the pocket. The rubbery material is nicely recessed into the scales so there is no contact with the pockets at all.
The grippy material being recessed does not add to the width of the "Evo" designed scales. Evo scales are slightly thicker than standard 84mm Vics.
If you like the tools on the Evogrips give one a try. I believe you'll find the grippy material and the ergo-shaped scales nothing but beneficial.

Some comparison photos, forgive the flash photography, hope this helps.

Thank you very much, Redsparrow. I really appreciate your effort. I'm trying to decide on the Evo or Evogrip 14.
You have a difficult choice jazzz. :) But choosing is often half the fun of ownership.
I picked up an Evogrip 11 because I wanted to try one with the grip material then later a Evo 11. After comparing those two for awhile and wanting scissors I went with the Evogrip 14. Can you see which way I lean? But only by the smallest degree, they are both cool and extremely useful.
Best regards in your decision.
