  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What SAK are ya totin' today?

Being left handed it's a little awkward to open one handed but it's really not a problem. I like it. But I like all my knives.

Tsk tsk, from 1 lefty to another, harden up you have had a life time of improvising :D:p
Is a nice model by the way.

Had a spare set of nylon scales laying around ...it was bound to happen. My reloading gear is at the farm, so I don’t have anything to get an accurate measurement, but these feel slimmer than the factory scales. Definitely more texture, making it ride more upright in my jeans pocket.

My daily companion: my Fieldmaster in a homemade slip. We have a few wild persimmon trees and we've had a good freeze, so wouldn't you know it -- only one persimmon left (thanks to the raccoons and possoms, I'm sure).

Hey congratulations on the deer
. Thanks Dan, it’s been a tough week of hunting. The temperature has been ridiculously high for November and a clear big moon every night hasn’t helped. But this buck was hard earned. She shot it about 2 1/2 hours after we first spotted it. It was in such a nasty little spot that we tried 4 different angles before we could get a clean shot. 81 yards and a neck shot finished him off.
