For Yellow Box and Red Gum I have a block buster, a 5lb axe, Sledge hammer and splitting wedges to get it into manageable sizes. So yes it's an effort to split it. But it's burns hot and for a long time. It's what I'm used to so i enjoy it, a real challenge sometimes.
