My usual late 90’s Spartan. This SAK is the one with me most days. Solid scales, they don’t make them like this anymore.
 
This Trekker started life as a green-scaled Bundeswehr/GAK model. I needed it to look inoffensive and SAK-like for a trip to Europe in 2018 so I replaced the scales and also got myself the tweezers and toothpick into the bargain. Whichever livery it wears, it's a workhorse!

Questions: When did Victorinox stop using metal inlay for the shield logo on the scales? Is anyone recreating them? I'm tired of these fading on the recent models.
