An engineering marvel!

I know you guys are probably tired of it but my Serrated Spartan is what I carry as a slippie, excellent knife, sorry for no pics. Gary

I always thought that SAK's were a bit gimmicky and not overly useful. But I bought one to give as a gift a few weeks ago and was honestly a little surprised how much I liked it. So I went out a bought another one for myself and made a pouch to hold it and a flashlight.

Gonna be on my belt a lot this summer.

Interesting that I have lots of other slip joints, some rather expensive but for about a year this has been my daily carry. It just made sense that if I am going to carry a certain size and weight it seems silly not to have the additional capabilities, built in.

It's been the black Pioneer for the past couple months now. For me it's just an ideal combo, yet slim and very pocketable.

Lately it's one of these. I scored all four of these Vics at a yard sale over the weekend, all brand new in original boxes. The little one is an Escort model (a Classic without scissors) and now rides on my wife's keychain. The other three are "small" Tinker models (84mm) and strangely without a key ring. Which is just fine with me, as it will be used mainly as a whittler and the keychain attachments just gets in the way.

The best part: I got all four of these for $6 along with a bunch of other yard sale stuff (electric engraving tool, chisel, drift punch and some table linens my wife picked out).
