What SAK/Multitool do you have on the way?

I found the Compact by accident as it popped up as a recommendation on a certain popular online buying locale named after a river :) I checked the tools out and fell in love. It's perfect for EDC in an urban environment. It's like a large Classic with a Swiss Card pumped into it :D

I lucked on to an older Golfer (on the bay as well) which is basically a compact without a hole for the straight pin. Neat and capable knife!

If you love that Compact and find yourself needing a file during the day, try a Marlboro Trail Guide which is just a compact with a metal file.

That's a great suggestion however the compact I have has a file built in to the spine of the hook

I do not own one... yet...
This may be the knife that will retire my SpyderCo and bring me back to the "traditional" fold.

Just purchased a red ALOX Pioneer, and for only $21.19 tax and all (I get a discount being a government employee).
While I really like this knife (it handles like a dream) I'm not sure that it will retire my SpyderCo. I actually need a one handed opening knife in my work, but the Pioneer is going to ride shotgun alongside my SwissTool.
I'm kinda stoked right now!

Congrats MrFixIt, the Pioneer is a fantastic knife:thumbup:

Thanks to Don, aka MrFixIt, I am the proud recipient of 2 red alox Pioneer's that are being packed and shipped as we speak. Thanks Don.

I got a Vic Lumberjack recently, for one buck - cellidur scales with the old cross. But it needs a lot of cleaning! Pics coming soon.... :D

Al, you are on a tear. Good for you!

Thanks; and the odd thing it's from a source you would never expect. Let's just say that SAK's can be found in retail establishments where one may go to buy a pair of boots, or get a haircut, or that sells saddles, feed, and blinders, and.......

It's not so much "on the way" as it is "here in my hand." I found a Victorinox camo Trekker at the pawn shop today for just $10.
