Thanks GT, the red Pioneer has taken over EDC duties, bumping my beloved orange Farmer back into the box and in the safe...red is soooo much the traditional SAK color.

I have a Hunter Green (custom color for knife dealer I'm ordering from) Explorer Plus coming. BUT NOT FOR ME.
I have a 10 year old nephew (who's a little genius-mom's a microbiologist and dad's pretty smart) who just asked for a knife of his own this year. Of course that fell to me
D ) the family "knife guy". It IS a tight year this year so that family and my wife suggested I just gift him one I had "laying around" 
THAT ain't happening. I DO admit to having some knives I don't/wont use, but this kid's favorite color is dark green, and is a future scientist and I knew I needed A SAK, with a magnifying glass! I also like the ink pen, straight pin, and micro screw driver that make the "plus" part, so that had to come with it also.
I have a Swiss Champ or I'd try to get one of these little jewels also! (Actually my SECOND Swiss Champ-the first burned in a car fire.)
Also, the NC dealer (also on the big auction site) offers engraving of initials, so I got that for him also on the main blade. Hopefully this will be a lifelong user/keepsake. THATS the beauty of a SAK!
