"I like stuff designed by dead people. The old designers. They always got it right because they didn't have to grow up with computers. All of the people that made the spoon and the dishes and the vacuum cleaner didn't have microprocessors and stuff. You could do a good design back then." - John Maeda

Never did I ask for an opinion on my designs. Personally I dont care what you think of them tbh. You dont have to like them thats fine.

So what knives do you use everyday, and what do you use them for?

How did they inspire these designs?

And I could include my names if you really want.

is #3 because of the green surfaced indentions? haha

Yep. I kinda like the glowy bits on the backspacer. I do find design #3 the most appealing of the lot but not overly fond of the giraffe camo pattern, tbh...

Keep on keepin' on, my friend

Look dude, if you have a problem with MY designs so be it. Go design your own "perfect" knife for yourself. You're trying to compare styles of knives that are not even remotely similar, completely irrelevant. The knife I carry everyday, hence the term EDC is a Protech Strider. It is used on some of my construction job site whenever there are things that need to be cut. The knives I use have nothing to do with my designs. My designs are from memory and based off of random knives I have seen from browsing through knives when looking to buy, and my own ideas of things that I like and what looks good to ME. As i have stated before we have different tastes, okay we get it you dont like my designs. Move on. I don't care to hear your ideas as they are biased because you do not like my design. Good day sir!

Thanks Brett, means a lot. Haha oh that ? Yeah it's just a Kryptek camo that I wanted to see what it would look like. Its merely just a decal in Fusion that I can remove no worries. Thank you for the input brotha

That would explain why your second design was so derivative.

Everybody uses model numbers today so you need some random 3-digit numbers. Leading zeroes are also popular. Then you need a 1-word nickname to go with them.

So, here we go:
0174 - Scraper
0312-2 - Awl
0064b - UKLO. (Unidentifed Knife-like Object)

If I remember correctly youre the one who said a Medford knife belongs in the dumpster. Pathetic. I own one and love it

was that to me? I think you have me confused with someone else. I don't know anything about Medford knives nor have I ever posted any opinion on them at all.

John, No sorry that was not aimed towards you my friend. It was towards the troll Larcivs. My apologies.

Since you said you don't make knives...only design them....have you had any of your designs made into actual knives and used them? How has use affected your design sensibility?

I have only had a few 3D printed, but they were old designs I no longer use anymore. It helped me get a better idea of sizing, thickness, and the pivot point as well. Look by no means did I want to come off as rude, I am just simply backing my design and my feelings towards something I've worked hard on and spent hours on creating in Fusion360. I get what you're saying of course however I am not to that stage yet. Baby steps. I simply was curious as to what I could name the designs while I continue to work on more designs. I understand you don't like or prefer my designs, but that doesn't mean you have to bash them because they aren't your style.
