  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What SOGs do you own?????

Actually a little known fact about the Twitch, and most of our Assisted Opening knives, is that you can take the spring out of it and it will still work.

All you have to do, for the Twitch series, is take the pivot fastener apart. The spring is located below the larger of the two halves. Once you have the fastener off the spring can easily be taken out. After the spring is removed just put the pivot fastener back together and you now have a non-assisted Twitch.

Easy as pie.

I wish I would've known that before I sold mine ;). Thanks for the infor Chris, I will look into picking another one up. That was one of my best EDC's by the way.

I currently own 3 SOGs,
Mini Pentagon (My first SOG)
Tigershark with AUS6A Steel ( In the mail)
Powerlock E.O.D. B63 w/v cutter( In the mail)
From reading the threads it seems my fellow mates in aus, like me, find SOGs hard to come by and expensive too. My two recent acquisation( The TS and Powerlock) was bought for AUS$ $125(TS) $102(Powerlock) and $30 combined shipping from an authorized SOG distributor. What do you guys think?

In the future, I would really like to own an Tigershark made from SK-5 steel especially the Midnight Tiger:eek: . Can anyone tell me where i could get one in aus, as well as a good sheath for the 9inch blade as an alternative to the kydex which i don't particularly like. Friends from down under, please help!

An Additional note: The Dealer would give me quotes on the price and shipping in AUS$, and then list what i want on a private eBay auction. How good is that?:D

AirSOG (My first, about 10 years old and well used)

SEAL 2000 (Becoming my favorite knife EVER. I wanted one for a couple of years. I can't explain how nice this blade is... and heavier and more solid than I could have imagined. You need to hold one to see what I mean)

Trident Folder (An interesting little knife. Almost sliced my pocket with the line cutter a couple of times)

Planning on a SEAL Pup, SEAL Revolver and perhaps a Scuba Demo.
(Unless I win a lottery... then I'll buy lots of every model.)

G'day I've got a daggert2,gov tac, topo contour, cross grip.switch plier and a spec elite1 on the way the gov tac is by far my pic anyone else replaced ther original sheaths I use spec ops sheaths for the tac and daggert

Just the SOG access card, I love it. The next sog I plan on getting is the flash I, I'm thinking of the spear point, as I'm not too much of a fan of the chisel grind.
