It does deploy wickedly fast. I've been very enamored with it, although about 30 minutes ago I was lying it bed sort of dazed out played with it and the lock started getting gritty and subsequently quite sticky/difficult to actuate. Ugh.. not the first time I've had an issue with Spyderco Ti framelocks, honestly.

Not sure what to do, if anything. Guess I ought to search around.

edit: Tried the "rub pencil lead on tang/lockbar" trick and it seemed to work pretty well.

Just received my first spyderco, a black endura 4 ffg. I liked it so much, that I ordered another endura 4 ffg and delica 4 ffg both in blue. I would also love a g10 version as well.

that sucks, I haven't flipped mine much only because its sitting at the house and I haven't been there.

A trans blue Manix 2 in a trade, and a new baseline PM2 I bought on impulse at a decent price.
 
Thanks to a friend of mine (ie, a gift) I have a Ladybug3 Hawkbill Salt on the way...just found out! :)

Thankfully the pencil lead trick worked wonders! Got that and my Leafstorm (which had a VERY stiff/sticky lockup) opening quite smoothly.
