What Survival Knives Are Ya Wantin or Waitin On ?

I'm waiting for this model from Bill Siegle--this one will have no handle grooves

Going to compare it to another Siegle I have loaned out

Also have a Condor Hudson Bay coming for my son's 15th Birthday

From Scott Gossman; Big Boar Tusker O1 micarta with Spec Ops sheath, friction folder A2 with desert ironwood and his Polaris model A2 with osage orange.

Dozier Knives; bushcrafter, basic model and sheath.

Rod Garcia; Skookum Bush Tool, basic model A2 with longer handle.

Got a bushcraft from Andrew Parks, 1095 and micarta, coming in. Also, got a Ka-Bar Phat Bob folder.

Soon I will probably be picking up some more Condors. Mainly a Hudson Bay, Rodan, and a few machetes at some point. Can't beat the bang for the buck factor ;)

Crossada the blade shape on that Lamey is very similar to one of my favorites. My G.L. Drew Bowie. I liked it so much I ordered another with Black canvas micarta handles cause I don't want to mess up the Desert Ironwood on the one I have.

Another thing on forged baldes is that You can have a thinner edge without giving up strength. Resulting in a knife which cuts and performs far better.

I missed out on one of Matt's knives by a few minutes on the exchange recently. He dfoes great work.

Firstly I've got a Bushwacker Mistress on it's way (muddy blade with tan mag grips). I should have it about six weeks because I'm mailing it directly to a sheath maker.
Here's the picture from the Busse store:

Next up I'm on the waiting list to have an Off The Map 'Bushcrafter' custom made for me.
I came across it while sifting through a bushcraft knife thread and got a hard on there and then :D
Here's a pic of the one I'm getting except without the red liners:

i do understand your concept of a survival knife...like robinson crusoe ...

fact is he aint had a knife like the one you envisage...or have with you...even tom hanks cudv done wth one...in castaway i mean...

from this i gather...it the one u have with u...THAT is ur rambo knife...so my point is this...whether your plane lands well...or not...u still need a VICTORINOX SOLDIER knife ...even if its gonna cut u from the plane...on ur person...in your flight vest...this is non negotiable...the only reason you can argue for it...ur still alive...

i am waiting for a couple. i can't stand it lol. one from a local indiana maker though its not a bushcraft blade. its called a edc tanto

I'm waiting for a piggyback sheath for my NMFBM LE and Cultellus. I have an order in for an Off The Map "the Bushcrafter". I have a plan for a machete in S7 that I am still looking for a maker for.

My next purchase will likely be the Jungalas. I already have too many in that size and style, but I gotta have one. After that will likely be a scrapper 5 LE, I've almost pulled the trigger on one in the exchange many times. There's also a few more Mora's that I need to pick up at some point.

Well I got bit by the bladeforums makers bug. Since October I have bought a Breeden Warthorn,NWA modified woodsman, Gossman big Boar Tusker in A2, A Bill Siegle camp knife and Hardcore and a Jeremy Horton Fatty camp Blood.Plus a Glock model 23.My wife told me I had better slow down.So I think I am set for a few months.
