What to do

I still believe exposure is the key. It used to be if someone asked something like what is your favorite knife, or what knife do you suggest, I would see someone post one of mine. I don't see that anymore.

I stumbled onto his work during a Google Image Search for a knife. I do not remember what parameters I was using, but I got his webpage. It was only after that I realized he was on here as well.

I like durable fancy looking WOOD on my handles, but that's cause I used to sell it and like the story behind where I found it in the woods. His knives are so simple and functional I cannot get it out of my head and am working with him now to purchase one for boot n belt carry.

Best we can do is post them up on bushcraft and gun and hunting and fishing and backpacking and what ever other sites you might be on.

I am always looking for the knife that "I don't want to part with" and so far his designs look like what I am dreaming of.

I am on Ramanon, Accurate Reloading, 24hourCampfire, NitroExpress, KnifeForums, ForestryForums, Arborsite, etc....so lets post him up!

I have yet to find a factory knife I like, other than my little Opinel. lol

I actually have my own forum on Ramonon too, but have not posted there in a long time, it's so dead there. I go by the name Stomper over there.

I changed my signature per NJBillK idea.

This should help get some more exposure.

Now I just have to shoot my mouth off around the rest of the forum so people can see it!

I put proud supporter in my signature, but it doesn't show up for some reason.

ETA: Well, I guess it's showing up now!

I am almost positive that the first place I started seeing your knives was on the EDC thread in General. I believe that would be a great place to show off JKs, because that place gets ALOT of traffic. Plus, there is the equivalent of the EDC thread in the traditional sub forum which also gets a lot of traffic.

As soon as my knife is in I will start a bunch of posts to promote...I love the classic or historic nature of these knives..the durability I read about and the simplicity.

Like I said post in all the forums you are on. Too many safe queen knives out there. I have a safe queen I designed and had made...It has killed some hogs but otherwise it is display.

My JK will be EDC for me.

Maybe a good web redesign would be in order? From the date on your page it looks like your web presence is a few years old now, and might be time for a refresh. It isnt too bad if you find someone who is good, but like everything else its def an investment. As a graphic designer myself, web presence is the first thing I look at in a business personally. There are a few ways you could go to refresh it, if you needed some advice or something I could try to give you a hand. Depending on your SEO, a redesign might be a great way for you to bring in new business.

6 months was enough for me. Same thing with USN Forums, 6 months there too. If you are not one of their boys you ain't nothing.

That was actually the same experience I had. I lurked at about three different sites for a while and all I saw was a bunch of snobbery, the funny thing was people from those same sites say were snobs over here? Also I think a web redesign and a little bit more exposure on social media like Facebook (you haven't updated anything since December) would help for outside of BF and and NJBillK's idea for here is great. Not trying to come of as rude on the Facebook thing but I think it could really help, there are a lot of new makers that aren't as well established as you that are getting five or six times the exposure.

I've got a bad habit of posting photos of knives under my own name instead of JK Knives, did it again this morning.

Speaking of Facebook, I see a lot of people posting other makers knives. Meanwhile people only post pictures of mine on the JK Knives home page. I wonder how many people see them there?
