What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you, GT. :)
I hope whatever I pick on Sunday brings me some luck too.
So you pick different "good luck" knives each Sunday? For some reason I thought you'd stick with the same ones each week (as long as they're "working" 🤓).

Today with my Usual Lamb and Small Texas Jack
Couple of capable classics! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Old and broke, but still cutting. ;)

That's how a lot of people describe me! o_O;)

Glamor shot of a dependable duo, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

:thumbsup: I see what you mean. I agree that the darker ones are more attractive.
:):thumbsup:

Another solid line up Gary. The two canoes look terrific. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd; I'm definitely some kind of "canoesseur". 😁

These two today, my new mini trapper, which is looking even better now that I’ve cut a few apples with it, and a thrifty little canoe. View attachment 1641100
IMHO, you're always well served by a canoe and a mini trapper; 2 of my top four favorite patterns! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

That Canoe is gorgeous, love the sheepsfoot too. 🤠:thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :) I really like the canoe pattern, but it's a pattern with not a lot of variety beyond cover materials. The sheepsfoot instead of spear on that red S&M is a big reason I really like it.

SYW and a Camillus #10

Cool photo of a couple of fine knives! :cool::cool::thumbsup: I like the way the colors of the sawcut bone and osage orange wood match.

Dont think this one is leaving the pocket anytime soon :cool:

Really cool how the patina coloration is very similar to the acrylic handles! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Looks good Gary, I need to carry mine sometime :) :thumbsup:
Thanks, Jack. 🤓 I'm a big fan of sowbelly stock knives, so I'd certainly encourage you to give your carbon steel RR some pocket time.

At last! :rolleyes: Carrying two treasured knives, gifted to me by two treasured friends :) Have a great day everyone :thumbsup:

That pair was worth waiting for, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I carry today this Taylors Eye Witness Lambfoot, ram’s horn scales and worked back.
...
I always admire the inner glow of that horn on your lambsfoot! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

And not only that, the two thoughts don’t go together.😁
Yeah, that too! 😁

You bet. I wouldn't dream of trying to keep her all to myself.
I'm sure she wouldn't dream of being kept. 🤓

Thanks Gary, is got a nice patina started so it’s really looking proper. 😉👍
:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Come down to Texas, and you may feel that way about summer, as I do. I'm getting excited for Autumn, with temperatures dropping down into the 70s at night. Finally!
Good point! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Case 'Stardust' Mini Copperhead today. I dunno why Case decided to forgo the Jack configuration on the Mini, nor why they put the main blade on the opposite end... 🤔

Good questions about the rationale for features of the mini copperhead; life is so full of mysteries! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

Burnt Chimney one arm barlow.

That pair was worth waiting for, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Thanks a lot Gary :) I think I've bought 4 of the carbon Rough Riders, and really should give them so pocket time. I have a chunky 'Half Hawk' in denim micarta sitting on my desk :thumbsup:

Attractive pairing Rachel :thumbsup:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Treating myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day today, with my Bagpipe Ebony Big 'Un, and my Yorkshire Rose ;) :thumbsup:

Now that is an attractive pair, Jack!

Such a cool knife. 🤠:thumbsup:
The elk sausage looks amazing, and a very appropriate cutter. 🤠:thumbsup:
Very cool pair. 🤠:thumbsup:
That sounds like a great way to spend the evening.
It was very nice, thanks. :)
We’re currently 4-0 and JV is as well.
Congrats on the strong start.
You coach for Pondo, right?
Wow... That's an awesome pair of Lambs right there. 🤠:thumbsup:
Couple of capable classics!

I’m kinda getting interested in the canoe pattern again. I really like the shape of the spear blade on my RRs. And yes Gary, you are definitely a master “canoesseur!”🤣
