What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My favorite Case pattern.
I only have one, but always looking for the next one.

I generally prefer a single blade and looked hard (more than once) at the Black Sycamore before deciding on the Dark Red two blade Copperhead.
While there is no real rhyme or reason to my "collection", I settled on the Dark Red mostly because I already have a Case Medium Jack in Dark Red ... so matchy matchy LOL
The first dark red cv Case I bought was a mini copperlock. I was expecting a dark, merlot color and got a bight red knife. Put me off at first, but the mini is such a great pattern I carried it anyway and it grew on me. A lot :)

When this years dark red cv jack and copperhead came out I couldn't resist (truth be told I didn't even try to resist  ). I've been carrying a yellow cv copperhead so the red one hasn't been carried. Sure is pretty though pepsweetie.gif

Hope you like yours as much as I do mine.

Hm, I had to Google the Victorinox to see what you’re talking about. Pretty cool! Had no idea that even existed. I can see how it would be handy. That Angus is a little over cooked to my taste, but it’s a well done knife for sure! 😃

Yessir. It is actually a newer model that they combined the capabilities of two older models, the Voyager and Altimeter after they figured it out to add all functionalities to just one device. The clock functions (timer, alarm, etc.) are from the Voyager, and the other features like the altimeter, barometer, and thermometer are from the old Altimeter model. I posted a pic of it in the EDC thread in the General section if you're interested in seeing it.

I just thought you were bad at math :p
I still could be bad at math!

The 804 is a great pattern Jeff. Which do you prefer, the standard 804 or your craftsman branded 9554?

Very cool opinel handle David, way to put your spin on it!

A little patina going on this 881 to get it back on the right path. Perhaps I will carry it for a while.

Paul, for having come from the same maker, they’re very close. But while the Craftsman is close to virginal, it’s a nail breaker to open. The Schrade has seen a lot of use, but was very well taken care of.

The thing that makes the Schrade a special one to me is that our friend Ron ~ Half/Stop pressed it into my hand when we met for breakfast only a few weeks before he passed away.

'm carrying two knives gifted to me, a few years apart, by my dear friend Duncan 'The Legend' Campbellclanman :) The first is the 2011 Traditional Sub-forum Knife, which Duncan took out of his pocket to send to me. For me, that kind of gesture represents what The Porch is really about :) The second is a Lambsfoot made by Needham Brothers, which Duncan obtained for me with the help of our beleaguered Man of the Hour, Barry gunstockjack . Thanks for all your kindness over the years Duncan, and good luck Barry! ;)

A pair of super sweet slicers today Jack; beautiful bone covers on both, but those slabs on the Needham Lamb are seriously stout! :thumbsup:
