What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’m carrying my bone 38 today too. I think it’s the “classiest” knife I own.
Got the red 71 with me today. These are fantastic. Really stiff pull which I enjoy.
I need to carry mine more often. Such an excellent model.
I’m going with Jack, and a thrifty little canoe. 😊
Nice to see the Texas jack again. Kind of missed seeing it. That’s probably a sign I should get one.

My carry for today. I still feel like an idiot for not wanting one when the production schedule came out. Good thing I didn’t make the mistake of passing on it.

I am pleased that the stag SAK is in your regular rotation, because I like to see it regularly. :D
Seeing that yesterday inspired my choice for today ~ I think it’s the same one?

I’m totin this Craftsman Stockman today. I think it’s a Schrade Walden 881 in Craftsman disguise.

It must have had some rust, because a previous owner “fixed” that with sandpaper. I have done that myself when removing marks left by a gorilla with a grinder, but it looks like he stopped at 220. He also did the back and forth thing which leaves little loop scratches at the end of each stroke.
Oh well, that’s why I was able to afford it!

Also have this Wenger Backpacker, which for me is an ideal 2 layer SAK...

That craftsman looks ulster made to me Jeff. Nice knife, well suited to a man of action!

I thought the same thing. Although I wasn't smart enough to buy one anyway. Now I'm on the hunt on the secondary. It is such a beauty. What was I thinking?🤦‍♂️

Got a pair of older stockmans with me today. The frontier was a very kind gift from 315 315 , thank you Jim! He messaged me and sent it when he saw one I had of my grandpas that was in much rougher shape, very cool! The case is one I have posted before. It is well worn as it was my grandpas, then my dads, and now mine. Hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Man, I love the 29 pattern! It was my favorite for quite a while after it was released, and I acquired several of them. Till I sliced my finger twice reaching into my pocket for mine, because there’s such a gap at the clip point end where there is no wrap around spring. Obviously user error, but it happened two times and that was the end of my love affair with the 29. I still have one, and it’s such a great knife, but in my case I guess I need to carry it in a slip, and I don’t prefer to use those.

Nice one you have there, and a great pic!

Ouch! I guess that’s grounds for a break up 😂. I do love the pattern and carry it in a slip myself.
