Our Chief’s Call to Initiation kicked off today. I figured the Navy Jack knife was perfect for the occasion.
As a young 'un I could only dream of a street like the one where I live now, which is covered in conkers at this time of year SteveSadly, the only people I see ever picking a few up these days are middle-aged, conkers lost out to X-Box et al

No chestnuts around here, but I often go to the forest preserves to pick up hickory nuts. The best spots are where the grounds are mowed under hickory trees. Which means the walking trails are close. Most avoid me as if I’m a crazy homeless guy, but some ask, as I’m standing under a hickory tree, “what are you looking for?”As a young 'un I could only dream of a street like the one where I live now, which is covered in conkers at this time of year SteveSadly, the only people I see ever picking a few up these days are middle-aged, conkers lost out to X-Box et al
