I went with couple of smooth bone handled knives today. Queen made Winchester Yellowboy, sowbelly stockman.
GEC made Northwoods Lincoln Jack in giraffe bone.

Those are fine Whittlers Jim This Böker is carbon, has no gaps at all, not a split back but tapered spring, very nice compact carry. Shown here with Black-Box Swell-Centre and CASE Half Whittler.

Excellent score, Jim. I love that jigging and bone color, plus I'm just plain fond of a whittler. I was looking at one for sale just like, (if not the same one), for a week or more.
Eventually talked myself out of it, not because I didn't love it but had to convince myself that I've spent enough this year on 'knives & other stuff that I just had to have'.
Good to see it in appreciative hands, congrats brother!!!
