Jeff… looks and sounds like fun! Can I ask, what is the pouch you have your knives strapped in? Looks like a nice size. I periodically look for a knife travel bag with straps like that, haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for yet.

The top pocket on the back is the one with the elastic loops like an actual knife roll. This is one of two combat trauma packs that my son used in Afghanistan. (The other one is loaded with med supplies)
I packed light for this trip, and I like a backpack instead of a suitcase.

Watching the light come up on a cloudy and cool morning in North Georgia. I’m enjoying that first cup of strong, black coffee, waiting for the girls to wake up so we can pow wow and figure out our fun stuff for the day. They asked for blueberry pancakes this morning, so I’ll be getting busy in a bit.

I like both the Electrician and the Pioneer.
I think, if I had to, I would choose the Pioneer because it reminds me of the old Scout Knives.
