Looks like you have the "posting a picture thing" down as I can see your picture. Welcome, hope you enjoy your time here.Just joined this morning. Have been quietly lurking for a while now, drooling over all your beautiful knives. Just dipping my toes into collecting traditional pocket knives. It seems to be a very slippery slope. Will soon find out if I've figured out the right way to share a photo in my posts. This No. 6 just happened to arrive in the mail this morning, so it makes sense for it to be my first post.
Watching the light come up on a cloudy and cool morning in North Georgia. View attachment 1658782I’m enjoying that first cup of strong, black coffee, waiting for the girls to wake up so we can pow wow and figure out our fun stuff for the day. They asked for blueberry pancakes this morning, so I’ll be getting busy in a bit.
Using these today...View attachment 1658781View attachment 1658783Enjoy your day!
Welcome to the Forums my friend . It is sort of a Slippery Slope . It just depends upon whether you will be " A Willing Sole " or not .Just joined this morning. One of the nicest looking knives that GEC has ever made IMO . It just touches all of the visual buttons for me .
Sounds like some geeky bucket list adds for me to heavily consider. I’m the weird 42 year old pushing over the 82 year old granny so I can see the botanical name plate on the 52nd variety of camellia. And it’s only solitude because my kids have learned it’s no fun to tag along. Dad gets to gooooo attttt aaaa slooooooow paaaaace. You made me realize that whenever we are away from home, we usually manage to seek out botanical gardens.
We have been to them in Chicago and Rockford, Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Denver Colorado, and Edinburgh, Scotland, off the top of my head. Very seldom find solitude, though. They are popular.
Thank you very much, Jack!!! Now that you mention it, I can see that! Thanks very much JJCool crimson couple, the GEC always makes me think of red liquorice!

Hi sir.Really nice deep color on that one!
What’s going on in the background of this pic?
Welcome, GAcheezhead. The #6 is a nice little knife. If you stick around very long your collection will grow quickly. There are a lot of bad influences around here!Just joined this morning. It is a hard knife to put down. Even though mine isn’t always in my daily pictures it is in my hand or pocket at some point everyday.
