What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one just arrived,I will start cleaning it up in a minute and sharpen its blunt.

I like it its thinner than some makes, the bails good and I prefer the bolster.

I haven't had a bolster like that before it gives you a little channel for a alternative grip.

From searching on the net this is a lockwood brothers knife and therefore at least 100 years old,oh my that's a thought.
I have cleaned, oiled and sharpened it in a fashion,I am no expert.

Thanks buddy, terrific bone on your TC

The blue stitching looks great John! Nice touch. Heck of a Barlow there also.

A knife worthy of its own celebration!
Thanks to all my friends for the kind words this morning... Much appreciated. :)

Those two shine through the gloom, Todd. 🤠

We basically live in the woods so it’s very difficult to find enough sunlight for a vegetable garden, so I really enjoy your garden shots Jeff. 😎👍

Thanks, Todd. I am concerned about boring folks with garden shots, so let me know if it becomes too much!🤪
Ironically, I am close to cutting down some of the black walnuts I planted 30 years ago because they’re shading my gardens.

Unless it’s some rare collectable, you have to make it usable. I think you chose wisely.

Been out a week + to travel home to Montana for my best friend's memorial as he passed tues the 12th Oct., of covid at age 54...I had the Buck 112 which was his favorite model, and the Old Timer borh in my back pack for the trip and today as well, and the yellow 3318 in pocket today...I may just keep a 112 in my pack every day here out...cheers to a fine Friday morning gang!

I never worry about collecting I buy to use,I just used it to prepare my evening meal.

It feels like a outdoor knife to me though, its very comfortable in the hand.

Might put something on the bail,I am not sure para cord is traditional though.
