Have a good day, everyone!
Good name for an Irish dog.
I don’t need to ask if he enjoyed the romp.

Thank you! Old stuff works.
Yes, once they found it, they got to work and had it fixed fast. Only out about five hours.
The thing is, and this is not the first time, I went and found the downed line, but thanks to their automated phone system, there’s no way to speak to an actual human to tell them. So I call the sheriff, who’s dispatcher gets the fire department on the line, and they get word to the power company.
And it is always somewhere along a mile and a half stretch of road where there’s a lot of what I call trash or weed trees that need to be cut out.
I am glad it is back. Some days old school coffee is better.

Is that an engagement ring? 🤔
Yes it is! Ill quote my post from the edc thread…
Special day around these parts. My best gal turns 60 today. My daughter and I are throwing her a suprise dinner party at her favorite fancy resturant. We have invited a dozen quests from our wedding( happily they are all still living!) and I will present to her the diamond engagement ring I just couldn't afford to buy her back in our youth. I shall ask her to marry me once again and if she says yes I have a preacher, not the same one as he’s long gone, on standby to renew our wedding vows….
I shall add my most special of knives to my pocket stuff today.the 65-69 Case medium stockmen my wife and daughter presented my years ago at Christmas. This knife has cut its last but will live out the rest of my life as my most cherished possession so only fitting its in my pocket as I celebrate my most cherished person.

I actually enjoy the Hallmark movies.
I don't mind when my wife watches them, I actually find myself watching along with her.
They aren't overly romantic and sappy, and they are all feel-good types of movies.
Plus I love all the small towns they take place in, makes me wish I lived in them.
I always tell my wife "Another Chic Flick?" whenever she tunes in the Hallmark movies or similar. She knows well enough that it won't be long until I'm watching it with her.

My wife has friends she goes to Chick Flicks with at the movies, I won't watch any at home either and she times them during my working in the shop, but Hallmark movies are the exception... I watch them with her sometimes.
Terrific Trio... Especially that Eureka. 🤠

With this Weidmannsheil in stag today.

I love this Weidmannsheil every time I see it. Is it an old or new knife ?

I’m not a Trapper guy, but that’s a Trapper I’d buy! OH
They’ve really put some style into that. Very nice.

Case did a great job on this Panama, can't speak for all of them, but mine is perfect.
I like the way they did the swedges and the walk and talk is smooth and still snappy.
Only the sharpness could have been better, but that's the least of a problem.

🤓 Remember last Monday and Tuesday? Those were the days, my friends!

...
Wishing everyone a good week :) Starting mine with these two
...
Your stag HHB and What-a-Knife are an auspicious pair to kick off your week, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:

In my pocket with this GEC 25 in stag.
...
Splendid knife, José! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

You're getting a lot of impressive sunrise shots at this time of year!:thumbsup::cool:

Incredibly handsome Jess Horn ram's horn, LT!:thumbsup::cool:
(I wonder if that's where the old saying, "Gentlemen prefer blondes." comes from. ;))

Ebony and Pearl ... feeling fancy today and dressing this December Monday up a bit even if I'm still a pig :D

The ebony and pearl are a fancy pair, indeed, but they pale in comparison to that pimped-out pig! 😲 🤓

If I ever wore a tie, I'd do that too... Cool. 🤠
Thanks, John. :) I rarely wear a tie anymore either, but I'm still teaching 1 course each semester, and I've been wearing that posted necktie for math tests that I've taken or given since the fall semester of 1969, so I still wear that tie about 8 times a year. 😁

Was carrying this Northfield 83
...
And then the White Owl was delivered. Sorry about the dark photos . Not the best Stag but Stag none the less
...
Harry
Congrats on the new stag White Owl, Harry!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
Having a Double Lambsfoot Day! ;)
...
Dandy double, Jack, with your stag HHB and the rosewood Big'Un!:cool::thumbsup:

For the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day I will carry one of my WW-II Navy-Coast Guard jackknives, this Imperial. In sacred memory to all those that lost their lives on that fateful day. OH
...
Great knife and appropriate memorial, Bruce!:cool::thumbsup:

Happy Tuesday Everybody
My trapper will have to wait until I get home from work.
Riding with my Usual Lamb today is the White Owl... Lamb for hard work and Owl for admiring...
...
Congrats on picking up a new White Owl, John; looks like a very functional pen knife!:cool::cool:

That Case canoe is worth celebrating, Gev!:thumbsup::cool: And is the knife on the right a Churchill? Classy pair!!

"Practical" pair, Steve: that Schrade Walden stockman really sets the pulse to racing!:thumbsup::cool:

Yes, it is in California. It is Pebble Beach/Carmel. It is beautiful here. I went for a walk along the golf course this morning before anyone was around.
...
Evidently deer don’t rake after they’re in the trap.
...
I even found a bona fide knife shop, but it was closed.
...
It certainly is a nice place to visit.
...
Looks like you had a great get-away, Bart!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Toting two Barlows today, both from Case. :)
...
Superb pair of Case Barlows, JJ!:cool::thumbsup: I especially enjoy the bone color on the clip Barlow!

That Osage Orange saw cut TC is memorable, Taylor!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Gary, Always love seeing the Taramundi your daugher brought you back from Spain, (and all the little faces in it LOL):thumbsup::D Edited, (ooops, sorry, I thought your daughter brought it back but maybe you were visiting her and then you brought it back)

Carrying this again
...
Thanks, Dave. :) You can see some crazy stuff in that burnt boxwood if you look at it! You're correct about my buying the knife when I went to visit my daughter in Spain almost exactly 7 years ago. The Taramundi was the first of several knives I bought as she took me on a tour of a number of Spanish cities.
Your stag 73 is outstanding!!:cool::cool:

...
Such an interesting knife  :)
...
Wishing everyone a good day :) Carrying my 2018 Guardians Ebony SFO, and my Glennbad Biscuit :)
...
Thanks, Jack; I really like the Taramundi friction folder and would like to pick up another one some day. :)
Another fine pair of knives for you, and both are unique or at least relatively-rare!:thumbsup::cool:
