Your two Sheffields pair well together, irrespective of the age difference
Thanks a lot, Jack!!! The two British fellas do have around a 70 year age difference. :)

You got to have a healthy start to the day, right?! :D ;)
My Usual Lamb and Flipper Bait should fill my pockets well today.
Nice pairing :)
I agree! Is there a term for that? Underbladeaphobia? Fear of being under bladed?

On that note....

Starting the week with these two in yellow jackets. :)
Great to see that gorgeous pair again JJ  :)

You really should try to, Todd. Not only are the trees amazing, but the whole landscape is beautiful.

That’s exactly right. There’s a lot of sound-absorbing material in there. This time of year, where we were, there are no crowds either. We were in a state park and went on two hikes and only saw one other group of people. It made for a very quiet forest. Although we were trying to make some noise because the ranger said they have been seeing a mountain lion and her cubs and we didn’t want to sneak up on them.

I swapped out the TC for this Frontier (a nice gift from 315 315 ) when we got home yesterday.

Yes, the less people, the quieter it is.;)
I believe Jim, 315 315 , has mentioned that it was his grandpa who instilled a love of Pioneers in him. Now he’s the Porch Pioneer Ambassador!
Nice and thoughtful gift, Jim.
Five bucks at a gun show. Like new except for cosmetic issues. Some sort of epoxy stuff on all the blades that does not polish off. Great user though with tight blades and great walk and talk.

Great deal on a solid knife!
At the flea market, I found a Camillus whittler marked at $10. I told the gentleman I was not going to haggle on that.
Camillus Premium Stockman and a Mustang

You have some great old Camilli, my friend. And I’m pretty sure I’ve complimented you on this premium stockman before, but I’ll just do it again to make sure!
Does it have coined liners? Spiral punch? I can see it has nice rogers bone.
That Camillus 883 seemed a little small yesterday for cutting rope, and I didn't want to actually use the Christmas knife and risk scuffing scripture.

I hate cutring my ropes. The last time I did, I cut it twice but it was still too short!
Starting the week with these two in yellow jackets. :)
For some inexplicable reason, I’m thinking of totin one of my 23 Big Jacks tomorrow!

Thanks Jeff, no coined liners on this one and the spiral punch is on the 68, this is what would later be the 67.
