Really like having Sparky in the photo Bart . It is not very often that we get to see a Longhorn up close and personal . Nice to see your knife with Green Grass behind it again .Forum knife again today. I guess I was paying too much attention to getting Sparky in the picture and cut off the knife.

I halter broke him when he was a calf about 16 years ago. My plan was to break him to ride but I never got around to it. He’s still pretty mellow and still hanging around.
Thanks, Harry. He let me get close, but he wouldn’t let me pet him. He’s gotten a little feral over the years.Really like having Sparky in the photo Bart . It is not very often that we get to see a Longhorn up close and personal . Nice to see your knife with Green Grass behind it again .

Wow, love the knife. What a coincidence, I did the second half of the deep cleaning today. First time and glad that is out of the way.Last Tuesday they worked on the right side of my mouth. Deep root cleaning or something like that. They clean down around the roots. Today we're doing the left side. When we were scheduling the appointments I asked, "Why not do it all at once and save me the trip?" She said, "You need one side of your mouth to chew with." Oh
That said, it wasn't all that bad, so since it went well last week, I'm carrying the same Red Trout this week. Not that I'm superstitious or anything

Great pair of knives, JJ!
Yup, your stag Mohawk is great. Would you say it’s your Numero Uno among your flotilla of canoes? Fleet? Armada? Battle Group?Econo-canoe this week is a stag bone Marbles with "damascus-etched" blades:

This is real committment.
Excellent summation of a danged good knife.Farm & Field ... nothing fancy and honestly I spent more time taking and posting the picture than anyone will spend looking at it ... that's okay
But back in the day when I first noticed GEC and what they were up to, this knife was a grail knife for me
It reminded me of the beloved black handled Case Sod Buster Jr in CV steel I constantly carried back in the 70's ... only much MUCH better quality and proportions
For me, the Bull Nose (not Bulls Nose please) is a joy to carry and use and my own collection wouldn't be complete without one
