These two today.

Forum knife again today. I guess I was paying too much attention to getting Sparky in the picture and cut off the knife.

I halter broke him when he was a calf about 16 years ago. My plan was to break him to ride but I never got around to it. He’s still pretty mellow and still hanging around.

Really like having Sparky in the photo Bart . It is not very often that we get to see a Longhorn up close and personal . Nice to see your knife with Green Grass behind it again .

Thanks, Harry. He let me get close, but he wouldn’t let me pet him. He’s gotten a little feral over the years.

The grass has really been coming on after that first big storm we got in October. It will slow down now as it starts to get colder.

Thank you very much Dave . Very much appreciated . Merry Christmas to you and your Loved Ones also my friend .
That photo of your WayNorth Lambfoot is outstanding and so is the knife .

Harry
:D:thumbsup: Thanks Harry!
Great-looking WCLF Dave

Ace pic

Hope everyone has a good day :) I'm off to get a Covid-test, with a couple of Barlows in tow, my Hartshead Barlow, and one JJ Cahill JJ Cahill kindly gifted me recently :)

Thank so much Jack! Dipping my toes in the Guardians pool:):D:thumbsup: Happy to hear the negative result, hope you are feeling better soon!
Great picture, it really shows off all the different tones in the bone. 🤠
Appreciate that JohnDF 👍👍👍 :D
Last Tuesday they worked on the right side of my mouth. Deep root cleaning or something like that. They clean down around the roots. Today we're doing the left side. When we were scheduling the appointments I asked, "Why not do it all at once and save me the trip?" She said, "You need one side of your mouth to chew with." Oh 😟
That said, it wasn't all that bad, so since it went well last week, I'm carrying the same Red Trout this week. Not that I'm superstitious or anything ;)

Wow, love the knife. What a coincidence, I did the second half of the deep cleaning today. First time and glad that is out of the way.
So, does that mean a boy?? ;)

Good to hear it's minor and hope that you are making head way with it asap!

here's mine from this morning,

Great photo, good to see an old friend with history hanging out with you!

Here's my Longhorn

Farm & Field ... nothing fancy and honestly I spent more time taking and posting the picture than anyone will spend looking at it ... that's okay
But back in the day when I first noticed GEC and what they were up to, this knife was a grail knife for me
It reminded me of the beloved black handled Case Sod Buster Jr in CV steel I constantly carried back in the 70's ... only much MUCH better quality and proportions
For me, the Bull Nose (not Bulls Nose please) is a joy to carry and use and my own collection wouldn't be complete without one

Toting a couple electricians from Robeson, one civilian and the other enlisted. :)
Great pair of knives, JJ! From this angle, they both look fairly pristine.
I have a Robeson civilian linesman/electrician, which was a thoughtful gift from Harry, but don’t have a Robeson TL-29. I’m curious if it has steel liners? Of the ones in my cigar box, only Robeson and Case handled theirs in walnut.
Edit~ oops, I think the Colonial I have is walnut, but that’s a weird one, and I’ve never carried it, even once. Ebay seller claimed he had 20 or so “New Old Stock”, “Never used”, Colonials, and they were only about $20, so I bought one. It does indeed look unused, but then why in the heck is the tang stamp buffed off?
Econo-canoe this week is a stag bone Marbles with "damascus-etched" blades:

Premium canoe this week is a Mohawk stag canoe; doesn't get much better than this for me!

Yup, your stag Mohawk is great. Would you say it’s your Numero Uno among your flotilla of canoes? Fleet? Armada? Battle Group?
Farmer X today cutting down more belts,I’ve had it if I put weight on again.😁

Top tip don’t pick up the Farmer by mistake and spend 10 minutes trying to find the scissors 😂

This is real committment.
A really confident bloke you are. Poking new holes is easy, but lopping off the ends means there’s no going back.:cool:
Hey! You did not measure twice before poking that hole!😅

Excellent summation of a danged good knife.
The proportions are pefect. How about the Bull Buster? Gotta get one of those too, Jim.
Bulls Nose really needs an apostrophe to be correct~ Bull’s Nose. But Bull’s Buster doesn’t work.

Thanks Dave. The Red Trout is part of my "never sell" collection :D
The dental procedure wasn't that bad. A little tenderness this morning. By tonight or tomorrow morning it will be unnoticeable. Glad it's out of the way too. Hope yours went as well as mine
