I wear a pair of those a lot even if I’m not roping, just to keep my hands warm but still have some dexterity.

I used to wear them all the time too, when working with horses and cows... and of course when I was roping.

Thanks. I don’t really dedicate a knife/slip combo. However this one is a physically and symbolically perfect fit

Time to change up. The friction folders I've been carrying the last couple weeks did everything asked of them. I could probably do with only them the remainder of however many minutes and seconds I have left. However, I really like multi blade patterns, especially the 3 plus blade Stockman pattern, over single blades.
I think it is time to put a 110 back on my belt, too.
So, yellow RR1740 Classic Carbon large stockman, and a 5160 equipped 110.

The photo reminds me of a time long ago and the little country store down the road 1/2 mile from our house and also fishing with a Cane Pole or just a stick with a Line and Bobber in the creek behind our house in Southern Indiana .
