The knife is well constructed and works well for its purpose. I have used the marlin spike more than the blade so can't really speak for the blade steels edge holding abilities. The little I have used it to cut I have not experienced any chipping, rolling or significant dulling.Any thoughts on the knife? How do you like the mysterious ”stainless steel”?
I know the question wasn’t to me, but I’d like to give my opinion. I much prefer pocket carry. I find it to be much more enjoyable, and I am far more likely to carry a fixed blade with pocket carry as an option. I also do not wear a belt that often except at work. After some experimenting I also found that I wouldn’t go over 7.5” overall length for a pocket carry fixed blade. I hope this helps.Just out of curiosity, what is your preferred carry method for your small fixed blades?

I'm baffled and confused, Jer. Just kidding, nice group today.Maybe I won't carry a stockman today. That should confuse the enemy and baffle pursuers.

Going with the gunstock I recently picked up and continue to develop the patina he started. Thanks Todd.

All the little fixed blades I normally choose from go with one or more of these sheaths. My choice between pocket and belt depends on where I'm going, and what I'm doing for the day.

Have these with me today. The Giant Mouse sheath can be pocket or belt. On my belt today.
