I was nearly totin being washed out to sea today

I thought I would christen my my knife in the Atlantic Ocean north Cornwall.

I watched how far the tide was coming in for 30 mins,then laid my knife down at the end of the wave,

First wave it went well,then the second wave went over my feet knocking me off balance.

Before I had time to retreat the 3rd wave cave in and hit like a train,up to my knees I very nearly went face down.

But didn’t retreat until I could grab my knife it was all but buried just a bit showing,a panic moment waiting for the wave to go back.

I grabbed it and got out,water and sand in my boots I squelched back to the car.

Then changed my socks and shoes and drove back with the heater blasting hot air in the foot well.

foolish behaviour.

After a professional touch from @jdistin, broken blade delete, straightened back spring and liners, finely tuned walk and talk, and new covers...what you see above.
