Nothing on topwater, crank baits or spoons but I finally put a 3” Aruku Shad on and bounced it along the bottom as I retrieved it back across the river. Got hit by a 14” Striper, an 11” Crappie, and a handsize Bream. You never know what they will bite - three weeks ago all they would touch was a Red/Wht DarDevle. Thanks for the luck. I had my HSB Jr. Cattle Knife in my pocket but never got snagged or had to re-tie my line. OH

Thanks gentlemen. Really enjoying the 77 Barlow. The action is quite a bit better than my #15 TC’s, and the closed length really hits the sweet spot for me. Also, since receiving the Case knives from Paul and Todd, I can’t keep them out of my pockets. I think I just love knives

Sunday knives. I’ll trust y’all to watch that game tonight for me. It’s Sunday, so there should be a good Columbo rerun on tv.
Priorities.In the meantime, my mother-in-law slipped on the ice and cracked her patella, so she’s in a brace from hip to ankle. This means she and Dad need a little help. Last weekend, my wife spent Sat evening and all day Sunday there doing laundry, cooking, etc.
Today she’s going down to deliver a giant pot of beef vegetable soup I made over the last three days. I’m going to miss that smell every time I walk into the house!
